We are looking for a skilled . Field Engineer. to join our engineering team. This role focuses on onboarding customers from an infrastructure standpoint and delivering technical demos when needed. As a Field Engineer, you will work closely with clients and internal teams to ensure seamless deployment, integration, and utilization of Qdrant’s technologies. You will play a crucial role in bridging the gap between technical implementation and client success.. . Tasks. . Customer Onboarding:. . . Guide clients through the deployment and configuration of Qdrant’s technologies on various cloud and on-premise infrastructures.. . Support customers in setting up scalable and secure environments tailored to their use cases.. . . Infrastructure Expertise:. . . Assist with infrastructure design and optimization to ensure high availability, performance, and resilience of Qdrant solutions.. . Provide support for containerization, orchestration (e.g., Kubernetes), and cloud integrations.. . . Technical Demos & Proof of Concepts (PoCs):. . . Conduct hands-on technical demonstrations to showcase the capabilities of Qdrant.. . Build and present proof-of-concept implementations that align with customer requirements.. . . Troubleshooting & Support:. . . Diagnose and resolve technical challenges during the integration and deployment process.. . Serve as an escalation point for complex customer issues requiring engineering input.. . . Collaboration with Internal Teams:. . . Work with the Cloud Engineering Team to incorporate feedback from customer interactions into product development.. . Collaborate with the sales team to provide pre-sales technical guidance when necessary.. . . Requirements. . Experience:. . . 3+ years in a technical implementation, systems engineering, or similar role.. . . Technical Skills:. . . Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and container orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes).. . Strong understanding of networking, security, and distributed systems.. . Proficiency in at least one programming language, preferably Python and / or GoLang.. . Familiarity with database technologies, including vector databases and search systems like Elasticsearch or Solr.. . . Preferred:. . . Experience working with open-source technologies and contributing to them.. . Ability to script and automate infrastructure tasks.. . . Nice to Have:. . .
