Zeta is looking for a seasoned, client-engaging Director/Sr. Director of Data Science & Marketing Analytics for its Activation division. She/he will be responsible for prescribing a performance-oriented marketing & analytics strategy to achieve optimal ROI on the client’s customer acquisition efforts.. . This position will partner with cross-functional teams including, but not limited to Sales, Client Success, Operations, Engineering and Data. You will support strategic growth initiatives by delivering actionable & insightful reporting that leads to helping clients grow market share in customer acquisition and related marketing efforts.. . You will report to the Head of Data Science & Analytics, will likely manage analyst(s) and work directly with our clients. . Key Responsibilities: . . As a Director of Analytics, you will be:. . . Be a master of measurement and optimizations for optimal marketing spend recommendations to our clients. Have a command over why Test/Holdout based incrementality measurement is a better suited measurement methodology over direct, last-click methods.. . Be a skilled storyteller and translate advanced analytics to a business audience.. . Develop, manage, and lead the execution of the client’s analytics strategy in support of their business priorities.. . Design, test, measure and refine strategies focused on driving client customer acquisition, retention, and lifetime value.. . Collaborates with Product and Engineering to implement and utilize key systems/tools, enhance processes, create efficiencies, and ensure data quality.. . Performs management responsibilities to include hiring decisions, coaching and development, recognition, performance management and team productivity.. . . Requirements:. . . Strong understanding of consumer behavior, marketing analytics and various KPIs. . Great at developing relationships across diverse teams (including analytical, sales, account management, and marketing resources). . Strong people management, coaching and mentoring skills.. . Work experience in Retail / Financial Services / Telecom / Travel vertical is a plus.. . Ability to display data visually, creating impactful presentations which effectively demonstrate the value of analytic deliverables.. . . Qualification:. . . Bachelor's degree preferred, Master’s degree preferred, in quantitative disciplines like Business Analytics, Data Science, Economics, Management Science, Business Administration.. . 10+ years of client-engaging professional experience while working in an Analytics role. Preferably, while managing a team of analysts.. . Experience using ML/AI Models and strong hands-on knowledge of measurement of marketing campaigns.. . Expertise with Python, SQL, Tableau. . . . .
