AI & Analytics Consultants at Lighthouse drive and execute complex electronic discovery review projects for law firms and corporations leveraging AI (e.g., TAR, GenAI) and analytics (e.g., structured sets, classifiers). This role is both highly consultative and highly process/tech-oriented requiring a deep knowledge of discovery workflows and requirements, and high literacy with respect to the state-of-the-art in discovery review and analytics technology.. Lighthouse AI & Analytics consultants maintain a portfolio of work that spans managing predictive AI and GenAI implementations for specific litigations and investigations, as well as designing and maturing programmatic analytics implementations for our corporate enterprise clients. As part of an innovation-focused team, Lighthouse AI & Analytics consultants play a pivot role in articulating and prioritizing the requirements for the next wave of our proprietary tools, and also play a central role in validating functionality of new tools once developed. As part of a fast-growing team that is pushing for broader market adoption of Lighthouse AI technology, consultants in this group also serve in a pre-sales, solution architecture capacity. This is especially true in contexts where Lighthouse does not have available point solutions yet is interested in developing them through co-design engagements with our law firm and corporate innovation partners. . . What will this person do?. Management of AI & Analytics client projects, including:. In-depth consulting and client education on projects leveraging predictive AI, GenAI, and/or structured analytics.. Designing project-specific solution based on client requirements and articulating staff and infrastructure requirements to support needs of client engagements.. Training and mentoring of junior staff assigned to engagements, providing regular feedback and evaluation to junior staff members and their respective managers.. Meticulous data tracking, statistical validation design and implementation, and metrics reporting to support the transparency and accountability of algorithmic discovery review.. Coordination with support and technical teams across the organization to ensure we are leveraging the full suite of LH capabilities to provide best-in-class support and value to our clients.. Documenting lessons learned for internal discussion and process/technology improvements.. Tracking and escalating project risk concerns up the chain as necessary.. Providing end-of-project metrics to inform ROI analyses and quarterly business reviews.. Contribution to operational initiatives, including:. Developing or maturing playbooks for core workflows of established offerings.. Implementing and updating AI & Analytics training curriculum (composed of a suite of documentation, simulation activities, and evaluation) for new members of the team or secondees from other groups who are supporting AI & Analytics workflows.. Providing requirements analysis and user validation input to our product development teams.. Collaborating with marketing, client success, and sales on client-facing overviews of Lighthouse AI & Analytics solutions.. Bring your passion and together we will shine. It would also be great if you have the following:. Advanced degree preferred in relevant discipline (law, technology, statistics) . Minimum 5 years litigation or eDiscovery industry experience required. Minimum 3 years advanced analytics in eDiscovery required. Prior in-house corporate legal, law firm legal staff or eDiscovery vendor experience required. Excellent knowledge of eDiscovery technology, including key applications and programs such as Relativity Analytics, Relativity aiR, Reveal (Brainspace), or comparable analytics platforms . Excellent knowledge of litigation support and legal discovery process and concepts . Proven success and desire to consult with clients/internal departments, projecting expertise and solving day-to-day challenges as well as strategic challenges. Excellent written and oral communication skills with clients and internal staff (demonstrated both in relaxed atmosphere and under pressure). Customer service demeanor: consultative, approachable, respectful, and polite. Ability to multitask under pressure. Experience leading complex projects and managing multidisciplinary teams from other departments preferred. Work Environment and Physical Demands. Duties are performed in a typical office environment while at a desk or computer table.. Duties require the ability to use a computer, communicate over the telephone, and read printed material, in a quiet and professional setting.. Factors that may be used to determine your actual . salary. may include a wide array of factors, including: your specific skills and experience, geographic location, or other relevant factors. The salary range for this position may be tailored to be lower or higher in different talent markets.. The expected pay for this role will range from $99,000 to $155,000 per year. This role will be eligible to participate in an annual bonus or incentive program. .
