Data Scientist - Remote UL Solutions. . . The Data Scientist will be working with the product, engineering, and ML Ops teams to develop innovative solutions for retail and our Testing, Inspection and Certification, problems using machine learning, NLP, deep learning, and statistical methods. . Conduct data exploration, analysis, and experiments to establish technical viability of business ideas. . Collaborate with ML engineers and QA team to productionize the models. . Research state-of-the-art tools and techniques in data science and help integrate them in our development processes. . Present all aspects of a data science project to lead technical and non-technical audiences through the goals, methods, and implications of the project. . University Degree (Equivalent to Bachelor’s degree) in Computer Science, Data Science, statistics, or a related discipline with 4+ years of work experience in data science. Experience using machine learning, deep learning, NLP, and advanced statistical methods to solve business problems. Solid technical knowledge and experience writing and testing Python code in production. Experience with large datasets. Knowledge of SQL. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate with technical and non-technical internal and stakeholders.
