Ecommerce is exploding and so are we! Octane AI is looking for a highly curious, analytical, and tech-savvy Marketing Operations Specialist to join our growing marketing team! As our first marketing ops hire, you’ll report to the VP of Marketing, and will be critical in enabling our go-to-market teams to maximize our huge growth potential. You will recommend and implement the right marketing technology stack, make sure the systems are wired to talk to each other, use data to enable sophisticated and personalized customer journeys, and work very closely with your sales operations counterpart on ensuring a smooth lead scoring and handoff process.
-Recommend, build, integrate and maintain a best-in-class technology stack that enables and empowers the tracking and optimization of all marketing programs our business depends on to keep growing fast, from top to bottom of the funnel.
-Work cross-functionally to build and improve the integrations of our marketing automation tool (currently HubSpot), sales CRM (Salesforce) product analytics (MixPanel), and support tool (Intercom) and ensure two-way data transfer that enables smarter triggers, better nurturing, and more segmented and personalized customer communications.
-Work very closely with your demand generation and lifecycle marketing teammates to find, enrich, score and handoff qualified leads to sales, smartly and quickly.
-Deep dive into the data to perform analyses, uncover insights and surface optimization recommendations to fuel growth and improve ROI (for ads, web conversion, churn reduction, lead qualification, etc.).
-Stay curious, keep current on, and be the internal champion for trends, best practices, new tools, and innovation in your space.
-Be ready to throw on other hats to help take advantage of new opportunities that arise - we are a small but growing team that works collaboratively to make sure all good ideas can see the light of day.
This could be a good fit if you:
-Have roughly 2-5 years of hands-on marketing operations experience, ideally within a B2B SaaS organization.
-Possess deep technical knowledge of marketing automation (HubSpot) and CRMs (Salesforce) and integrating those systems with other technologies.
-Know how to implement a system for robust data collection, from tag managers and ad trackers to custom attribution algorithms and web analytics platformAre extremely tech-savvy, and can self-sufficiently articulate and implement the technical requirements of the solutions and tools you recommend.
-Not-so-secretely love (and are proficient with) data analysis/visualization tools (e.g. Excel, Google Analytics, SQL, etc.)Are proactive and persistent, capable of seeking information independently, solving conceptual problems, corralling resources, and delivering solutions.
-Would be bored in an environment that was anything but blazing fast.
-Are not afraid to think outside of the box to move the needle.
-Don't take yourself too seriously, and love to have fun while working hard.
