What We’re Looking For

You should have…

  • 3+ years Software Testing / Quality Assurance experience and proven track record of delivering high quality products
  • Proficient at writing test cases, writing scripts, test execution and defect tracking
  • Experience with automated test tools and frameworks
  • Development background: Microsoft .NET framework, C#, VB.NET, ASP.NET, jQuery, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, XML as well as testing these technologies
  • Working knowledge of SQL
  • Experience with automated test tools and frameworks
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related work experience
  • An understanding of Agile Development Methodology (Scrum)

A strong team player that has the ability to communication effectively written and verbally the technical solutions to technical and non-technical team members and customers.

About the Job

In this role your primary responsibilities of this position are to design, create, execute and maintain test plans, cases and scripts related to Listrak products and solutions. You will consult with product owners and other team members to ensure applications are developed according to specifications in a Scrum environment. Other responsibilities include providing second tier support for internal and external customers.

What You’ll Do

You will work with development members to understand project enhancements or defect fixes and create, organize, and maintain test plans and test cases accordingly.  Take on responsibility for creating, maintaining, and performing acceptance, regression, and functional tests and effectively documenting results. As well as taking on running functional and regression tests to ensure new features/enhancements meet user requirements and are free of major defects.

Additionally, you will provide second tier support for issues from first tier support team. Identify if issue is user error, defect, or system limitation and create defect ticket for development or advise first tier support as necessary. Work with Scrum team to develop testing automation. And, be responsible for regular status updates to all assigned sprint tasks in daily stand-up meetings and maintain Scrum task progression daily.
