The Role. Donorbox is seeking a Senior Data Analyst to play a pivotal role in providing strategic insights and analytical support across marketing, operations, and business intelligence functions, enabling us to drive global philanthropy forward. . As a Senior Data Analyst, you will be at the forefront of transforming raw data into actionable insights that will help guide the development and improvement of our products. Collaboration is key, as you will partner with teams across Marketing, Product, Engineering, Operations and beyond, leveraging data to drive informed decision-making and achieve our collective product and business goals.. Responsibilities. Proactively identify and champion projects that solve complex problems in important business areas. . Partner closely with marketing, product, engineering, and other business leaders to construct forecasts, recommendations and strategic/tactical plans based on our data and market knowledge. Holistically own general problems in those product/business domains and understand how those problems/domains interact with the rest of Donorbox.. Build actionable KPIs, production-quality dashboards, informative deep dives, and scalable data products. Apply specialized skills and fundamental data science methods (e.g. regression, survival analysis, segmentation, experimentation, and machine learning when appropriate) to inform improvements to our business. Design and implement end-to-end data pipelines: work closely with stakeholders, especially data engineering, to determine workflow and define models, tables or schemas that support business processes. Influence leadership to use a data-driven approach for informed decisions. Define and advance best practices for data analytics and data science. Qualifications & Experience. Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Statistics, Data Science or related field and 4 years experience in data analytics or related field . Deep understanding of Advanced SQL techniques and data modeling . In-depth knowledge of visualization tools, data modeling, data transformation, and data visualization. Experience in marketing analytics with design experiments, developing statistical models, measuring campaigns, and identifying optimization opportunities, or using data and analytics in technology or SaaS. Experience in data science, building robust data pipelines and solving high impact business problems. Masterful data storytelling and strategic thinking, with an ability to inspire and cultivate the Data culture across our company. Well versed with various Business Intelligence platforms and tools. Experience working with various levels of business stakeholders, from c-suite to engineering and product development teams.. Working on multiple work streams excites you, and you are able to use ambiguity as an opportunity for high-level thinking. Experience creating data product strategies, building data products, and continued iteration after launch. Bonus. R / Python a plus. Experience launching productionized machine learning models is a plus. Extensive domain experience in sales & marketing or SaaS is a plus. Details. Fully remote based in India (or similar time zone).
