Nava is searching for a dynamic Benefits Advocate to join our mission-critical Member Support team! Powered by The Nava Benefits App, we’re revolutionizing benefits support by offering comprehensive assistance for open enrollment, bill & EOB explanations, getting help with complicated claims and more. As a Benefits Advocate, you'll educate members on open enrollment, resolve claims and billing issues, answer benefits and coverage questions, and be the go-to for all member inquiries. This position is fully remote and welcomes candidates from anywhere in the US. While the role offers flexibility, candidates should be available to align with west coast core working hours.. 🔑 Key Responsibilities:. Support and Educate: Provide comprehensive open enrollment education and answer benefits/coverage questions.. Resolve Issues: Tackle claims and billing discrepancies with minimal support.. Member Inquiries: Be the go-to person for all member-related questions and concerns.. Proactive Communication: Monitor membership files and notify clients of any delays.. Carrier Outreach: Communicate with carriers (phone & email) regarding member inquiries or enrollment issues.. Collaborate: Provide regular updates to management and the client success team.. Multitask: Effectively triage and manage multiple member requests at a given time.. 👨🏼‍💻 Preferred Experience:. Experience: 7-10 years in a benefits brokerage setting in a member-facing role.. Independence: Proven ability to resolve benefit member issues directly with carriers.. Tech-Savvy: Familiarity with internal ticketing systems is a plus.. Problem-Solving: Strong skills in resolving issues with a customer satisfaction focus.. Team Player: Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment.. Attention to Detail: Exceptional multitasking abilities and meticulous attention to detail.. Working at Nava.
