Infrastructure Engineering and CI/CD teams are responsible for enabling product Software Development teams to efficiently launch their services and applications into cloud environments while ensuring that Security and Architectural standards are met. They work closely with other engineers so they can properly understand and improve their workflows without burdening them with infrastructure details and compliance requirements.. We’re looking for a Software Engineer with strong programming foundations who is passionate about infrastructure and Continuous Delivery, while highly aware of security requirements and best practices, having to constantly balance between empowering the rapid growth of a Startup and the demands of working in the Finance Sector.. Key Responsabilities. Promoter of technical excellence and helps the team to thrive by constantly making informed decisions that consider tradeoffs, and pushing the team to follow and improve their practices. Enjoys building products using different technologies, as well as scaling them up using cloud computing. Supports the team to build medium to high complexity projects, that may involve multiple teams and iterations, and collaborates with the architect and the tech lead to make sure the solution is feasible and aligned with the technical vision. Understand the underlying problem when facing a challenge. Design and implement solutions for the problems. Write software to achieve the business and team’s goals. Fix bugs and resolve incidentsIdentify and communicate risks. Support and promote best practices among the team. Mentor and support other Software Engineers. Ensure the team remains focused on the objective of the project. Learn and improve at the technologies, processes, and best practices defined by the team. Write the necessary documentation. Troubleshoot bugs and incidents. Help the team triage the bugs and problems that arise. Code reviewing. Monitor the systems and services the team is responsible for. Participate actively in the team’s ceremonies. Prepare and conduct technical interviews. Participate in early discussions for medium to complex projects. Help the team break down complex projects into manageable pieces. Position Requirements. Strong technical background in programmingUnderstanding of the elements of good code. Experience and understanding of software design patternsFundamentals of relational databases. Experience with at least one database engine. Experience in integrating, designing, and building APIs. Experience deploying and maintaining software products in production. Experience with at least one architectural pattern (i.e. MVC). Experience delivering solutions that require multiple iterations. Experience considering non-functional requirements from the very beginning of the design. Experience balancing business, product, and technology when making decisions. Nice to have:.
