Our Client, a multinational company operating within the chemical industry (adhesives), is looking for a Key Account Manager to lead strategical and tactical initiatives in Norway, Sweden and Denmark. . In this position, you will be responsible for the development of the Key Partners in the Industrial Distribution segment. We expect you to “hit the ground running” and make an impact early on.. You will work in close cooperation with our Nordic Sales Manager, the Nordic Sales Team and our European colleagues, supporting you to succeed in the KAM role.. Your strategic responsibility will be:. Increase sales and manage profitability of Key Accounts, with a key focus on commercializing the business in close cooperation with key stakeholders. Implement the European segment strategy at Key Partners. Plan, agree and follow through on the annual action plan with Key Partners. Together with the Sales Manager build and lead the accounts and the annual budget targets to support the deployment of the Key Account plan. Lead the strategic development of the Key Accounts by setting sales, growth and profitability targets together with the Sales Manager. Identify new opportunities, manage & implement projects and sales pipe. What you will need?. We expect you to have a deeply developed understanding of how to utilize marketing as a tool, to grow the presence with the partners and to make our high-quality products available in the right channels & platforms.. They have an agile mindset and are capable of interchanging between the strategic approach and the operational implementation. With your natural drive, proactive & structured approach and expert communication skills, you ensure our partners get the highest level of attention, support and push when needed, both at the HQ and in the field.. The ideal candidate also:. Has at least 5 years of sales and/or marketing background (preferably experience working with distributors). Is an expert negotiator, looking to find the best solution for the involved parties. Has a strong digital mindset and capabilities (inc. Office 365 applications). Is naturally open minded and takes an agile approach. Is self-motivated as your work base will be from home. Has excellent language & presentation skills in Norwegian &/or Swedish &/or Danish and English. Is ready to travel for up to 50 days a year . What our Client offers:.
