Staff Accountant Facet. Facet is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our team. As Staff Accountant, you will play an essential role in maintaining the financial records and transactions of Facet while working closely with the Finance & Accounting team and other internal stakeholders to ensure the financial health of the Company through timely and accurate financial reporting. You will have a strong attention to detail and a dedication to process improvement. Monitor AP & Accounting inboxes for new invoices received from vendors. Process everything bill.com such as new vendors, updating payment methods, retrieving W9s and setting up new Tax IDs. . During close weeks, assist the team with close tasks. . Book other journal entries as needed (e.g., stock comp and insurance). . Fixed Assets, Intangible Assets & Prepaids- set up new schedules in NetSuite as applicable, record amortization entries monthly, reconcile the account statements in Excel. . Book other journal entries as needed (Stock Comp, FINRA, Aetna, Mutual of Omaha, Nationwide). . Help with audit support as needed. . Requirements. . Must have Advanced Microsoft Excel skills. . Must have experience with Bill.com. . Must have experience working with NetSuite. . Must have experience supporting financial statement audits. . 1-2+ years experience working in a public accounting role. . . Basic knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP). . Excellent attention to detail and accuracy. . Excellent organizational and time management skills. . Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. . Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment and with cross-functional teams. . Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. . Benefits. .
