Kiddom is looking for a Sr. QA Engineer who will be a strong individual contributor, who will bring in not only strong manual testing skills, but also solid collaborative and communication skills. In this role, you will act as a lead for one of our functionally-focused teams, partnering with stakeholders to test for bugs in our efforts. You will be responsible for developing and executing test strategies, writing test scripts, and performing both manual and automated tests to ensure our products meet the highest standards.  As a Sr. QA Engineer, you are supported by a fantastic team and will have the opportunity to help solve some of the most significant challenges that our clients face.. You Will.... Work closely with our content developers to support ingestion efforts . Work with application developers and product teams to set feature roadmap and plan release deadlines.. Partnering closely with various stakeholders with projects around content. Understand and analyze user stories, requirements, or product specifications. Provide feedback about functional issues as appropriate. Provide feedback about Acceptance Criteria and design issues as appropriate. Communicate and triage discovered bugs. Test and debug pre-released software for defects. Perform smoke testing, regression testing, verifying claimed bug fixes. Assist with manual functional testing for all projects. Write/Edit test cases and test plans. Write/edit automated scripts for functional testing. Assist with load and performance testing. Support customers by triaging user-reported issues. What we're looking for.... 5+ years professional experience in functional manual testing. Excellent communication, verbal and written skills. Experience with bug tracking software. Excellent attention to detail, with an ability to multitask and meet deadlines. Commitment to developing quality software, mentorship, training, and supporting teammates.. Ability to work in both a team environment and independently. A strong understanding of the software test cycle process. Ability to work as part of a collaborative team in a fast-paced environment. Salary range is dependent on geography, past experience, seniority, and demonstrated role related ability during the interview process.. What we offer.
