Sales Position @ RevenueCat

The Role

As the first person doing "sales", you'll get RevenueCat into the hands of more developers and help them make more money. As a side effect of this, you will help us triple our revenue in 2021 and keep us on the path to going public in this decade.

About us

RevenueCat makes selling subscriptions in your mobile app easy. We launched as part of Y Combinator's summer 2018 batch and today are handling subscriptions for more than 5 million mobile subscribers across thousands of apps. We are a mission driven, remote-first company that is building for the long term.

About you

• You are an excellent sales person

• You have experience selling a developer-oriented, technical product

• You can design, build, and operate a sales process

• You know the typical sales motion for B2B SaaS

• You are an excellent written and verbal communicator

• You aren't afraid to place a phone a call

• You have experience with the App Store, Play Store, etc.

• You have strong opinions about CRMs

Within the first month, you'll

• Learn our current sales process

• Do demos (1-to-1 and 1-to-many)

• Have calls with customers at all stages of the funnel

• Understand our ACV distribution and start to get a feel for the lead landscape (rabbits, deer, elephants, etc.)

• Close your first deal

Within the first 3 months, you'll

• Design, implement, and operate our first iteration of a sales process

• Standup a CRM to operationalize our process

• On-board several high value customers from first contact to launch

• Work with our Data team to design dashboards and data products to enable sales

• Work with Marketing to develop sales enablement collateral for different stages of the customer journey

• Start experimenting with outbound

• Channel customer feedback to the product development process

• Work on a plan to get us to $9M by the end of 2021

Within the first 6 months, you'll

• Go through several iterations of our sales process

• Have a strategic understanding of all of our go-to-market functions (advocacy, marketing, sales, support, engagement) and help coordinate them

• Have designed KPIs that you are using to measure your success

• Help recruit additional team members to accelerate our growth

Within the first 12 months, you'll

• You feel confident about hitting our $9M goal, or know the reason we won't

• Be thinking hard about $9M -> $18M
