You will be responsible for designing, executing, and continuously improving key people development programs including Performance Reviews, Engagement Surveys, New Hire Onboarding and more. As the first program manager in this space, you will also get to play a unique role in helping our team establish and scale our program management best practices. You will get to do this while partnering closely with stakeholders across the People team, executive leadership, and nearly every department at Mercury. . You will:. Lead and execute critical cyclical people programs such as bi-annual performance reviews and engagement surveys. Scope and plan programs, timelines, milestones with an eye towards simplicity and efficiency . Facilitate brainstorms, project meetings, retros, etc. and drive alignment, decision making and action across project teams. Lead program communications, including content creation and education, and help ensure clarity on programs for Mercury employees . Build program summaries and trend reports for stakeholders and support conversations with executive leadership on program results . Evaluate program success against goals using data collection methods that you’ll refine. Continuously iterate and improve programs in alignment with stakeholder feedback and evolving business needs. Lead new hire onboarding program operations including scheduling and experience, and cultivate a positive and welcoming environment for all incoming new hires . Support program development and execution for employee and manager development programs such as new manager onboarding, manager coaching, quarterly employee enrichment sessions, and monthly manager meetings. Manage vendor partnerships and administration of performance management and employee development tools/platforms. Assess, recommend, and implement new tools, platforms, and vendor partners as we grow. Weave company context into everything that you do, and ensure development programs are mapped smartly against broader People team and Mercury initiatives . Strengthen the People Team program muscle and build out program and project management best practices to help us scale . Ideally, you’ll have most of the following qualities:. 3-5 years of proven experience in program/project management, ideally within HR, Talent Management, Recruiting or Learning & Development functions.. Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with people across many different work styles and foster collaboration across remote teams . Highly organized and detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple large-scale projects simultaneously. Comfortable working in ambiguous, ever-changing environments, and able to adapt and pivot with ease . Flexibility and adaptability to tackle a wide variety of projects and programs, and expand into new areas of ownership as our team grows . Experience with facilitation, and comfort with leading meetings and employee trainings. Strategic thinker who can operate from first principles and introduce innovative approaches to the way we do things .
