About the role. We’re looking for a Machine Learning Engineer to build systems for trust and safety in Runway’s platform. The ideal candidate for this role has a combination of strong engineering skills, extensive experience working on machine learning projects, and thrives in a fast-paced, high-ownership environment. . You must also be willing and able to work with sensitive content and situations that may be offensive, disturbing, or triggering. . What you’ll do. Architect and develop systems for preventing abuse and improving guardrails in Runway’s generative models and tools.. Work with a world-class engineering team pushing the boundaries of generative models and content creation.. What you’ll need. 4+ years of relevant engineering or research experience in machine learning, computer vision and/or graphics. Solid knowledge of at least one machine learning framework (e.g. PyTorch, Tensorflow). Very strong programming skills and ability to write clean and maintainable research code. Ability to rapidly prototype solutions and iterate on them with tight product deadlines. Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills.
