Requirements:. Strong proficiency. in . C, C++, or Rust. for developing high-performance, low-latency networking applications.. Deep understanding of networking protocols. such as: . VLAN. , . VXLAN. , . BGP. , . EVPN. , . MPLS. , and . IPsec. .. Control plane and data plane separation in SDN architectures.. Hands-on experience. with . SDN technologies. like: . Open vSwitch (OVS). , . Snabb. , . ZeroTier. , and . SONiC. .. Solid knowledge of . Linux networking stack. , including: . iptables. , . nftables. , . netfilter. , and kernel-level networking modules.. Familiarity with . network performance tuning. and . high-speed packet processing. techniques.. Strong background in . network security protocols. and best practices.. English language proficiency.. Preferred Skills:. Experience with . DPDK (Data Plane Development Kit). for fast packet processing.. Familiarity with . BGP EVPN. for data center fabric and overlay network design.. Knowledge of . cloud-native networking. (CNI plugins, Kubernetes networking stack).. Exposure to . hardware offloading technologies. (e.g., . SR-IOV. , . SmartNICs. ).. Understanding of . distributed systems. and scalable cloud architectures.. Preferred Qualifications:. 5+ years of software engineering experience.. 3+ years of experience. in . network software development. or SDN-related projects.. Strong proficiency in . C, C++, or Rust. for developing high-performance networking applications.. In-depth understanding of . networking protocols. such as . BGP, EVPN, OSPF, VLAN, VXLAN, MPLS. , and . IPsec. .. Experience working with . SDN technologies. like . Open vSwitch (OVS). , . Snabb. , . ZeroTier. .. Strong knowledge of . network architecture. , including . data center networking. , . overlay networks. , and . control plane/data plane. separation.. Proficiency in .
