VP of FP&A @ Hopin
At Hopin, there is a tremendous opportunity for the Head of Financial Planning & Analysis (VP will be considered for the right candidate) to make their mark on a hyper-growth company. You will be partnering with Finance leadership to build a world-class, global finance team that is on a mission to bring amazing events to anyone in the world. The role will require ‘getting into the weeds’ while offering a greenfield opportunity to be strategic and build an impactful and critical function within the organization. A successful candidate will be able to operate in a fast-paced environment and deal with ambiguity but be able to ‘see the big picture’ and grow the function for public market scale.
Responsibilities:
- Manage existing team and execute on a roadmap to build a global, remote FP&A function
- Align the company and investors on financial goals while enabling rapid growth across the company
- Lead all aspects of the financial planning process - Annual, Quarterly, Monthly
- Report on company financial performance for the company and executive team
- Prepare materials for the board of directors and our investors
- Partner with functional leaders to build and execute the financial plan
- Ensure that financial and business KPIs are tracked with transparency and accuracy
- Participate in financing and fundraising activities
- Partner with accounting to ensure a highly efficient monthly close and global consolidation process
- Drive and collaborate internally to implement and continually improve systems and processes including ERP and financial planning software
- Lead, collaborate, and drive various projects to completion: ASC 606 compliance; CoA optimization, ERP/financial system implementation, Audit - to name a few
- Work closely with Accounting, Tax/Treasury, Legal, People Operations, and functional leaders across the organization
About you:
- 10-15+ years of relevant experience leading financial planning functions in a high growth environment. Preference for candidates with a history running corporate finance functions
- Have led the financial planning team through IPO - a nice to have
- Strong understanding of SaaS business models
- Excellent proficiency of US GAAP and IFRS
- Have led and built teams. You inspire people that work for you

- Self-motivated, can-do attitude, problem solver and can work in a fast-paced environment
