Local Coordinator. with ICES, you can work from home while actively engaging with your local area to secure volunteer host families for international high school students to achieve their American dream. This position is a great fit for individuals with full-time jobs, stay-at-home parents, retirees, or other commitments. More than 80% of our Local Coordinators manage this role alongside their full-time jobs, demonstrating flexibility and making valuable contributions.. 🧡 . What You’ll Do:. . . Work from home . on your own schedule to recruit volunteer host families and support the exchange students and host families throughout the year.. . Be active in your . community. —by building relationships. . Conduct . in-person home visits.  and guide host families through onboarding. . Coordinate with . local high schools.  to ensure student success. . Host or attend . local events and check-ins.  with students and families. . Be a . friendly, reliable mentor.  for students during their stay in the U.S.. . You will be able to collaborate with a . dedicated ICES regional team. . This team is committed to providing ongoing training and support to ensure your success and growth within the organization.. . Get . Familiarity with local resources and networks that support cultural initiatives.. .
