The role sees you supporting and facilitating the week-week accounts for our busy South East Queensland Markets and Events.. We are seeking a skilled Bookkeeper to oversee and manage our company’s financial records, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely reporting.. This role will appeal to a well versed and experienced Bookkeeper/Accountant (minimum 3 years in a busy or similar role) who is looking to further their career in a well-established and rapidly growing business.. The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining financial stability and supporting decision-making by providing accurate financial data to management.. This role reports directly to the CFO and General Manager.. Key Responsibilities: . . General Accounting: Manage day-to-day financial operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable and payroll processing, Rent Roll/property Accounts Payable and Receivable.. . Financial Reporting: Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including balance sheets, profit and loss statements and cash flow forecasts.. . Bank Reconciliation: Perform regular reconciliation of company bank accounts and credit cards.. . Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and organized financial records, ensuring they are compliant with industry standards and regulations.. .
