As a Risk Analyst at Payability, you will play a critical role in evaluating the creditworthiness of new and existing customers by reviewing historical sales data and operational performance. You will oversee credit risk management, execute periodic reviews, and maintain compliance with internal and external standards. Using reporting tools like Looker and BigQuery, you’ll also produce data-driven risk reports to support decision-making and strategic planning.. This position is ideal for someone with prior underwriting experience who thrives in dynamic environments, is highly analytical, and is motivated to continuously improve existing processes.. Key Responsibilities. . . Financing Application Review:. Review new financing applications by evaluating historical sales data and conducting general company research to assess credit risk.. . . Customer Risk Monitoring:. Monitor risk levels of existing customers and adjust credit limits as necessary during scheduled reviews.. . . E-commerce Risk Evaluation:. Assess e-commerce performance indicators, including sales trends, inventory levels, and order fulfillment metrics.. . . Payout Verification: . Verify customer payout requests and approve them according to established risk guidelines.. . . Risk Reporting: . Create comprehensive risk reports using system-generated data via Looker and BigQuery.. . . Compliance Oversight:. Ensure customer compliance with payment provider requirements and Payability’s general compliance standards.  Complete monthly KYC audits in partnership with third-party vendors.. . . 2–3 years of experience in financial risk operations, underwriting, or a similar role within fintech, alternative lending, or specialty finance.. . Proven understanding of credit analysis and underwriting principles.. . Strong proficiency with Google Sheets and SQL; experience with Looker, BigQuery, and other reporting tools is highly preferred.. . Excellent organizational and time-management skills; ability to thrive in a high-speed, remote team environment.. . Superior written and verbal communication skills; able to present findings clearly to a range of stakeholders.. . Ability to think critically and independently while contributing as part of a collaborative team.. . Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field.. .
