RVP of Sales EDB. Regional VP, Americas.  . What your impact will be…. Given the expansive market opportunity, EDB is looking for a senior sales leader to drive team and revenue growth in the Americas. As a Regional VP, this candidate will guide go-to-market strategy across the region, take and implement lessons from successes achieved in other global regions, develop best practices, and hit ambitious revenue goals. The VP will oversee the Americas sales team and report to our CRO acting as his right hand in advancing the company towards its next stage of growth.. Role and Responsibilities. Develop and implement America’s Enterprise sales and go-to-market strategy. Including key deliverables, goal-oriented strategies and product/service positioning and messaging to achieve the company’s growth objectives. Be a change agent; assess and improve upon current sales processes, methodologies, infrastructure and metrics to optimize performance of the sales organization.. Create and execute a long-term sales plan, including strategies, goals, quotas, and analytics.. Develop collaborative working relationships across the organization in pursuit of the company’s overall business goals.. Create and nurture a feedback loop with customer success, marketing, finance, and other key regional stakeholders.. Evaluate the talent level within the sales organization, making upgrades as needed; hire great people and get them ramped in a coordinated and timely manner.. Build out robust training and onboarding, performance assessment, coaching and feedback programs.. Maintain a deep knowledge of the EDB product, industry trends, and competition... Professional Qualifications. Experience managing teams selling enterprise software solutions as well as a solid understanding of IT transformation.. Experience negotiating and closing complex sales cycles in a consultative manner with C/VP level executives. . Ability to build relationships across the organization, at all levels.. Experience in MEDDIC sales methodology is a plus.. Player/Coach mentality; comfortable pivoting between both. Demonstrated ability to develop team structures, performance measurements, and forecasting systems. Track record of hiring, developing, motivating, and mentoring a world class and diverse sales teams to meet and transcend goals.. Proficient goal-oriented executive presence and ability to set clear goals, inspire, train, and encourage others to foster ownership.. Personal Characteristics.
