Design and monitor IP geofencing systems controls that comply with global sanctions regulations (i.e. OFAC, EU, etc.).. Stay current with evolving global sanctions regulations and adapt our IP geofencing controls accordingly.. Collaborate with various business lines across the organization to understand IP geofencing needs and improve controls as necessary.. Regularly assess the effectiveness of IP geofencing systems and conduct troubleshooting where necessary.. Develop, enforce and update protocols and best practices for IP geofencing controls.. Update applicable policies and procedures to ensure that they are up to date and reflect the current IP geofencing control environment. . Coordinate with legal, risk, product, and operations departments to address detected compliance issues promptly and efficiently.. Conduct regular training sessions for internal teams about the importance of IP geofencing controls and compliance with sanctions laws.. Requirements. Bachelor’s degree in law, finance, business administration, or related field. Advanced degrees or certifications in compliance or related areas are preferred.. Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in compliance roles with a strong focus on sanctions and geofencing practices.. Thorough knowledge of global sanctions laws and regulation, along with an understanding of the impact of these laws on business operations.. Proficiency in adopting modern technologies in refining and improvising compliance strategies.. Strong leadership skills with excellent problem-solving abilities and the capacity to make decisions under pressure.. Outstanding communication skills, as well as the ability to effectively liaise with both internal teams and external regulatory entities..
