We are looking for the next senior Privacy Engineer to join the team! You’ll join an established team of stunning colleagues in executing our privacy programs covering highly important areas such as individual rights and data holds. This is a truly unique role combining technical privacy challenges with cross-functional complexities related to global, large-scale privacy programs.. In this role you will have a front row seat to Netflix’s new product features and plans. You will take legal and regulatory expectations and translate them into actionable requirements, designs and roadmaps. You’ll get to work on data at a large scale, using data protection, minimization and de-identification methods to provide the best possible outcomes for Netflix and our customers. You will get to use your technical privacy domain expertise as well as program management practices in influencing both what we do as well as how we do it.. You’re passionate about privacy and data protection!. You have 5+ years of experience in solving complex privacy problems with technical, business, regulatory or organizational constraints (most likely either as a Privacy Engineer or Technical Program Manager).. You have a strong subject matter expertise in supporting products or businesses in privacy topics such as data collection, usage and deletion. You’re familiar with Privacy Enhancing Technologies and know why & when to apply them in practice. . You’re comfortable in operating and making decisions in an ambiguous, fast-paced environment.. You’re an effective communicator across cross-functional stakeholders.. You have experience in working with large scale data assets, including querying and analyzing data.. To determine your personal top of market compensation, we rely on market indicators and consider your specific job family, background, skills, and experience to determine your compensation in the market range. The range for this role is $100,000 - $720,000. .
