What You Will Do: . As a member of the Distribution Team you will contribute towards developing and enhancing products connected to Cloudbeds’ ecosystem . Design and implement features and improvements utilizing PHP, Vue and React. Lead discussions on complex technical concepts and requirements with both technical and non-technical stakeholders as a contributor to the backend and frontend architecture groups. Write clean, well-tested, well-documented, and elegant code. Write documentation for new and existing areas of our application. Contributing towards the ongoing initiative to migrate our core platform into microservices. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to plan, build and ship high quality features. Mentor team members through practices like pair programming and code reviews. Re-architect and re-factor existing systems to align with project requirements. Help design the long term vision of our technology and new component architectures. Promote best practices to improve the quality of our code and processes. Drive technical decisions within the team. Advocate for quality and test automation. You’ll Succeed With:.  . 5+ years of PHP web application software engineering experience. 5+ years of experience with  JS frameworks, Vue.js and React are preferred. Strong knowledge of modern Javascript and Typescript design patterns, best practices and technologies. Knowledge of Git, including workflows/actions. Expert knowledge of relational databases, indexing, and searching technologies. Knowledge of test automation (unit, integration, end-to-end). Strong communication and collaboration skills. Excellent problem solving and debugging skills. Strong knowledge and a passion for software best practices, design patterns and testing. Strong teamwork, leadership, and time management skills. Passionate about agile practices and continuous improvement. Business level English fluency required (verbal and written skills). Nice to Have:. Experience designing and building microservices and/or micro-frontends. Experience with PHP Frameworks (CodeIgniter, CakePHP, Laravel, Symfony). Experience with cloud-based infrastructure (Docker, Kubernetes, AWS) . Experience working with a remote-first and globally distributed team. Travel industry experience is a plus (but definitely not required!). Experience with Atlassian products (Jira/Confluence/Bitbucket).
