At Staked we combine software and systems engineering to build and run large-scale, fault-tolerant staking node infrastructure for 40+ blockchains.. DevOps Engineering at Staked is the heart of the operation. We combine software and systems engineering to build and run large-scale, fault-tolerant staking node infrastructure. Staked uses a variety of tools including Kubernetes, Terraform, Jenkins, Prometheus and Grafana for system orchestration and monitoring.. The Opportunity. Manage creation, maintenance, and improvement of core “Infrastructure As Code” supporting production systems. Support the design and enhancement of automation processes to scale and evolve systems for improved reliability and velocity. Aid in the management of containerized applications within the data infrastructure using Kubernetes, ensuring efficient deployment, scaling, and orchestration. Participate in measuring and monitoring availability, latency, and overall system health of core infrastructure components. Work closely with the BlockOps and senior team members to ensure efficient deployment and maintenance of Staking Validators. Support sustainable incident response practices and participate in blameless post-mortems. Collaborate with senior team members and other teams. Assist in implementing effective incident response procedures and contribute to on-call rotations. Troubleshoot and resolve incidents promptly to minimize downtime and impact. Skills you should HODL. BS degree in Computer Science or a related technical field involving coding (e.g., physics or mathematics). Minimum of 2+ years of experience using Kubernetes. Minimum of 2+ years of experience with best practices, and management in AWS or GCP. Proficiency in one or more programming languages such as Python, Go, or Java. Experience with UNIX power tools (bash, grep, etc). Experience with monitoring tools like Prometheus and Grafana. Interest in crypto and  blockchain technology or relevant experience required.
