JOB DESCRIPTION. . The Structural Engineer coordinates and exercises functional authority for engineering of structural aspects of our product line to ensure functionality, quality, cost and schedule by performing the following duties as instructed by the Director of Structural Engineering.. . . Responsibilities:. . . Reviews product design for compliance with engineering principles, company standards, customer contract requirements, and related specifications. . Advises on design changes, specifications, and drawing releases. . Interfaces with others in the organization and customers to jointly determine customer needs and solutions. . Uses computer assisted engineering and design software to perform and develop engineering calculations on specific projects and provide state stamp when applicable. . Reviews product failure data and interprets analyses to establish or rule out material and process causes. . All other duties as assigned. . Qualifications:. . . Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field. . 0+ years of experience. . Structural design experience is a plus. . 3D design experience. The company uses RISA 3D and SolidWorks. . Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products. . Excellent verbal and written communication skills including ability to interface at all levels. . Organized, focused, and results-oriented with the ability to work on multiple parallel projects.
