Backend Product Software Engineer, DocSend Platform Dropbox. Role Description. Actively share knowledge and document insights to support continuous team improvement and collaboration. Act as a mentor throughout the software development process. Partner and collaborate with other functions and teams across both Dropbox and DocSend. Many teams at Dropbox run Services with on-call rotations, which entails being available for calls during both core and non-core business hours. If a team has an on-call rotation, all engineers on the team are expected to participate in the rotation as part of their employment. BS (or higher, e.g., MS, or PhD) in Computer Science or related technical field involving coding (e.g., physics or mathematics), or equivalent technical experience. 5+ years of software engineering experience. Solid CS fundamentals with strong problem-solving skills. Proven track record of shipping impactful features, end-to-end. Experience or interest in scalability, performance, reliability, monitoring and observability. Required: Ruby on Rails experience. Preferred Qualifications.
