Product Designer - Mobile Apps BuddyBoss. Position Summary.  . Main job of this role is to take over all design maintenance and improvements to our native mobile app. Whether that’s incorporating new functionality from the web/platform, building mobile-only functionality for our app clients, or refreshing existing screens with improved interfaces and user experience. You’ll be working alongside two of our other Product Designers, but be the primary designer responsible for the app, so we expect someone who has the confidence to be a self-motivator, and not rely on step-by-step instructions. Beyond the designers, you’ll work directly with our Product Manager and day-to-day with our Product Team..  .  . Responsibilities.  . Collaborate closely with product management, developers and other designers to explore, create, and ship your designs.. Identify user needs through user-feedback through direct responses, customer success and market research.. Ensure team alignment on user needs and simply complexities by mapping and sharing user insights.. Ideate with the Product Manager to create visualize flows and interactions with user flows, task flows, wireframes, and lo/hi fidelity prototypes.. Iterate based on user feedback, stakeholder feedback, and design critiques.. Ensure the design is communicated clearly and effectively to product  team and implemented to match your design specification.. Influence, create, and maintain our design system, design standards, research and operational processes.. Champion a user-centered mindset in the organization..  .  . Qualifications/Experience.  . Skilled in utilizing design systems.. Experienced in working with components and auto-layouts in Figma.. Highly knowledgeable in Human Interface Guidelines and Google Material Design Guidelines.. Strong understanding of mobile-first design principles.. Any knowledge of WordPress/BuddyPress/BuddyBoss would be beneficial but not required.. Used tools: JIRA, Confluence, FIGMA, Slack.
