What You Will Do As A Engineering Manager. Team Leadership:.  . Lead, mentor, and develop a team of engineers, fostering a culture of continuous improvement. . Conduct regular one-on-one meetings, performance reviews, and career development sessions with team members. . Promote a collaborative and inclusive team environment that encourages innovation and growth. . Project Management:.  . Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of engineering projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget. . Work closely with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to define project requirements and scope. . Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies. . Technical Guidance:.  . Provide technical leadership and direction to the engineering team. . Participate in architectural discussions and guide the team in making informed technical decisions. . Stay up-to-date with industry trends, technologies, and best practices, and incorporate them into the team’s processes. . Process Improvement:.  . Develop and refine engineering processes to enhance efficiency, quality, and collaboration. . Implement and monitor KPIs to assess the team’s performance and drive continuous improvement. . Advocate for and implement Agile methodologies where appropriate. . Resource Management:.  . Manage resource allocation to ensure optimal team productivity and project success. . Identify staffing needs and participate in the recruitment and hiring process. . Oversee the onboarding and training of new team members. . Stakeholder Communication:.  . Act as a primary point of contact between the engineering team and other departments. . Provide regular updates on project status, challenges, and achievements to senior management and other stakeholders. . Facilitate cross-functional collaboration to ensure alignment and successful project outcomes. . What You Will Bring As A Engineering Manager.  . Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field. . 5+ years of experience in software engineering, with at least 2 years in a management or leadership role. . Proven experience managing and mentoring engineering teams. . Strong understanding of software development lifecycle, Agile methodologies, and project management tools. . Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills. . Ability to balance technical expertise with business acumen. . Experience with PHP is a plus. . Proven experience working with US based business teams  . Excellent written and communication skills in English language  . Ability to work within core US business hours / time zone expectations - Eastern Standard Time (EST) overlap  .
