The Private Client team is about providing the highest level of advice and service to our high net worth clients, a segment that is growing at an accelerating pace.  . As a Lead Advisor, you will join our team of elite professionals serving our growing client base of high net worth households. You will be responsible for supporting our clients with their investment and financial planning needs. By giving unbiased and first-class advice, you will deliver exceptional client experiences and also have the opportunity to lend your subject matter expertise to important team and company initiatives.. Today the financial services industry is an oligopoly dominated by five big banks. They charge high fees, and provide poor service to clients with less than $3M in net worth.  Additionally over $2T in assets are in the Wealth Management sector and a large portion of these assets are investing with high fees and poor returns. We believe that it is time for something different for Canadians. While many financial services companies are focused on high net worth clients, we have seen first hand in our growth of this group that they value a new tech-enabled approach that can provide more value, transparency, and higher quality advice, at a lower cost.. In this role, you will have the opportunity to:. Challenge the wealth management industry status quo. . Work directly with engaged clients on a range of challenging and unique financial planning and investing situations. . Work with clients on the phone, video and in person. . Work with the media representing Wealthsimple in news and publications. . Help us scale insights and opportunities for high net worth clients to benefit all clients. . . Go the extra mile for our clients at all times. . Skills and experience we’re looking for. Client-focused - Always put the client first. Designations - Must have CFP or IQFP plus CIM of CFA. CPA is a highly valued asset. . Years of Experience - Must have 7 years + of experience providing advice and financial planning to clients. . Bilingual  - French speaking is a highly valued asset. . Complex financial knowledge -  Extensive experience planning and investing for clients with corporations, trusts and estate needs. . Passion - Possesses a passion and energy for financial planning and investing and shares this with clients. . Excellence mindset - Always striving to know more, grow in your role, and master your craft. . Technology - Embraces technology and the role it plays in financial services. .
