Director (Head of) Business Development OfferFit. Position Overview: . The Head of Business Development is a critical role for OfferFit. In this role, you will work closely with our Sales team to create valuable opportunities.  You will have the opportunity to build a team and drive our BD process, making a huge impact on the company. You can take ownership of the function and experiment as needed; we are not looking to bring someone in to simply “execute our playbook.” Reporting directly to the VP of Sales and BD, you'll play a pivotal role in our scaling efforts. . Responsibilities include:. Setting a clear vision for a scaling Business Development organization . Designing, implementing, and refining BD processes that drive efficiency and effectiveness (e.g., personalized omnichannel sequences to executive-level buyers). Leveraging data and metrics to make informed decisions about BD strategies and team performance . Recruiting, developing, and retaining top BD talent, including building a high-performance BD culture . Developing an understanding of the BD / Sales tech stack, including advocating for best practices to fill fundamental gaps. Coaching the team on business development practices and OfferFit’s end-to-end business development processes. Participating in critical activities related to prospecting and lead generation. Forecasting opportunity generation with accuracy. Contributing your perspective & experience to shaping OfferFit’s overall GTM strategy . What is this job great?. Distinctive subject matter expertise, you have built successful outbound motions at scaling companies, and are intimately familiar with the sales tech stack, process best practices, and performance management techniques.. Experience in BD for a hypergrowth enterprise SaaS company with high ACVs (>$100k). Excellent people leadership skills, including ability to attract and retain top talent. Proven ability to build and manage growing BD teams. Track record of instilling a positive culture to achieve results with accelerated delivery. Excellent collaboration skills: ability to work collaboratively with colleagues in sales, marketing, customer success, finance, and product. The base salary range for this position in the United States is $142,000 - $204,000 per year, plus eligibility for additional commission/bonus up to $100,000 with an overall OTE of $242,000 - $304,000;  Eligibility for an additional end of year performance bonus, commissions (when applicable) and/or equity options may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, depending on the position offered.
