Manager, Business Intelligence ExtraHop. We seek a strategic and people-focused Business Intelligence Manager to lead our data reporting team, ensuring stakeholders can access accurate and actionable data that drives business decisions. Reporting to the Head of Technology, you’ll oversee team development, manage HR responsibilities, guide roadmap planning, and build stakeholder relationships. In this role, your strategic oversight will create a team culture that fosters scalable data processes and continuous improvement..  . Key Responsibilities. Team Leadership & Development: Manage and mentor a team of three, fostering their growth and navigating challenges in alignment with team goals—own HR responsibilities, including hiring, performance reviews, and skill development.. Roadmap and Planning: Lead roadmap planning and prioritization of high-impact projects, working closely with stakeholders to align project goals and strategic priorities.. Stakeholder Collaboration: As the primary liaison with other departments, managing communication and relationship-building to gather reporting requirements and align on strategic insights.. Architecture and Security Ownership: Oversee the architecture of the team’s tech stack, ensuring security, scalability, and alignment with data governance standards.. Ensure processes and technology comply with data governance and data security regulations and policies.. Facilitate adherence to data integrity practices guided by overall cyber security standards.. Pipeline Management: Ensure efficient data pipelines for seamless data flow from various sources to data stores available to analysts.. Team Culture and Processes: Cultivate a collaborative, inclusive team environment. Establish and refine team processes, improving efficiency and creating clear paths for communication and feedback.. Budgeting and Metrics: Manage the team's budget and resource allocation and take ownership of reporting key team metrics to leadership..  . Required Qualifications. Proven experience in a management role with HR responsibilities, team development, and stakeholder communication.. Proficiency in data engineering skills, including data architecture, ETL processes, and data warehousing.. Deep understanding of algorithms to transform data into usable forms.. Demonstrated success in roadmap planning and prioritizing work based on business impact.. Excellent communication skills for engaging stakeholders at various levels..  . Preferred Qualifications. Familiarity with data visualization and management tools like Tableau, Snowflake, and Figma.. Experience with 5Tran for ETL processes.. Experience employing software engineering methodologies, including Agile, DevOps, architecture design, and service-oriented architecture..  . Skills and Competencies. Strong data engineering and data architecture expertise.. Proficiency in ETL processes and data warehousing.. Ability to use advanced data visualization tools for insights and reporting.. Effective communication skills for managing stakeholder relationships and conveying complex ideas.. Strategic planning and prioritization skills to align work with business impact.. Knowledge of software engineering methodologies and practices..
