UX Researcher . in our Consumer Product org, you’ll investigate user behavior and needs using qualitative methods to design and conduct foundational and evaluative research to guide executive decision-making. The ideal candidate will leverage their research skills to drive product strategy and improve the user experience for new and future users of Reddit.. Responsibilities:. Design and execute high-quality, high-impact research studies, focusing primarily on foundational and generative work.. Drive communication and collaboration with cross-functional partners, including engineering, data science, design, product/program management, etc.. Drive product strategy across product pillars via actionable insights and strong partnership with Product, Design, Engineering and other cross-functional team members.. Required Qualifications. 2+ years of experience conducting research in-house at consumer tech company. Demonstrated expertise in qualitative research methods, including when and how to apply them during each product development phase.. Detail-oriented and able to work independently.. Experience leading strategy via partnership with product managers, designers, engineers, and data scientists.. Excellent interpersonal, organizational, written, and oral communication skills. Demonstrated ability to synthesize data into concise, actionable insights.. Can prioritize time between multiple projects, and be flexible, adapting to changing priorities while maintaining project velocity.. Nice to Haves:. Masters or Ph.D. in Anthropology, Psychology, Statistics, Behavioral Science, Human-Computer Interaction, related fields, or equivalent experience.. #LI-SP1
