Full Stack Web Engineer Canvas. We are looking for an engineer to help us build and support the API for our iOS application, as well as API and frontend for a web portal. Reporting to the Web Lead, this role will involve a healthy mix of feature development, ideal for someone who enjoys working on diverse projects, including API and frontend development. You’ll collaborate closely with iOS engineers, the Platform team, and Product Managers to design and deliver seamless user experiences. Responsibilities:. Build products and tools that directly help thousands of architecture, design, and renovation companies save time and grow their business with 3D capture, and will help our team serve them better.. Develop intuitive and responsive user interfaces as well as the backend systems that support them.. Own your projects and use this autonomy to find creative and innovative ways of solving problems and delivering solutions.. Participate in code reviews, uphold best practices, and ensure high-quality code across the stack.. Qualifications:. It's a joy to communicate with you in both written and spoken English.. You have a strong background in Python, Django, and Django Rest Framework (or similar). You have experience with databases like PostgreSQL, Redis, MongoDB etc.. Built or maintained APIs, using monoliths or micro-services.. You are familiar with major cloud platforms like AWS, Google Cloud, Azure etc.. Designed frontend user experiences that balance functionality with usability, and are familiar with tools like Figma.. You are well-versed in frontend technologies such as JavaScript, TypeScript, or modern frameworks like React, Vue, or Angular.. The test pyramid has no secrets for you and you stress over the testability of the code you write.. Worked in teams using Agile development practices, or others like ShapeUp etc.. Any of these qualifications will make you stand out:. You have experience in writing technical documents or proposals, or have given technical presentations.. The services you have worked on in the past communicated asynchronously through Kafka, RabbitMQ or similar.. You have created new design systems or have extended existing ones with new components.
