
Senior Manager of Data Infrastructure Invisible Technologies. About The Role. The Senior Manager of Data Infrastructure will play a pivotal part of the analytical culture of Invisible. They will be responsible for managing the infrastructure and architecture that powers our centralized analytics team. They will be responsible for data extraction, transformation, and storage of data to enable analytics. They will also drive key decisions and create policies around database design, data architecture, data optimization, and data practices on the analytics team and in the organization as a whole. They will manage a modern analytics tech stack of ETL tools including, but not limited to, Fivetran, DBT, Airflow, and Metabase, and they will also guide the architecture and design of company-wide tools such as our HRMS, CRM, and ERP. . What You’ll Do. Lead the analytics team’s data architecture and infrastructure strategy . Act as a leader in data and data-driven strategy at Invisible . Enable downstream data products such as dashboards, reports, analyses, and, self-serve models. Manage our data lakehouse and data marts, in terms of tooling and design . Set robust data definitions, sources of truth, and nomenclature. Monitor data integrity and accuracy . Manage our data pipelines . Maintain and optimize data transformation layer and data models . Ensure efficient data processing and resourcing . Build data pipelines between different systems (eg ERP, HRIS, CRM, etc.) . Manage data permissions . Write and enforce company-wide data policies . What We Need. 8+ years of experience in a data architecture, data infrastructure, data engineering, or analytics engineering role (or similar) . 4+ years of leadership experience, either managing teams or owning cross-functional data infrastructure . Experience with modern tech stack for analytics / BI . Ability to translate business needs to optimal data structures (pipelines, models, marts) . Experience setting the data architecture for external systems . Proficient in SQL. Proficient in Python for data pipelines and analytics
