
VP, Product Management - Core Dropbox. Role Description. Dropbox is looking for a VP of Product Management, Core to lead the vision, strategy, and execution for how users grow, expand, and engage with Dropbox’s core product. Your leadership will shape the future of a platform loved by over 700M+ users worldwide, driving global monetization and expansion. You will oversee a high-impact product team responsible for improving key growth levers, optimizing self-serve and managed product experiences, and developing new ways for users to collaborate and get work done. You will report into GM, Core and will work closely with C-level executives and cross-functional leaders across Engineering, Design, Marketing, Data Science, and Research to drive growth, revenue, and customer retention.. Responsibilities. Define and evangelize the company-wide product vision, strategy, and roadmap to drive user growth, monetization, and retention across self-serve and enterprise offerings. Own and lead global monetization efforts and new revenue streams, ensuring alignment with business goals and financial performance. Collaborate with senior leadership (CEO, CFO, CMO, CTO) to align product initiatives with company strategy, revenue goals, and market expansion. Leverage data, user research, and competitive insights to optimize key growth funnels, improve activation, and unlock new expansion opportunities. Lead, mentor, and scale a high-performing product management team, fostering innovation, operational excellence, and continuous learning. Drive cross-functional alignment across Engineering, Marketing, Sales, and Customer Success to accelerate adoption, engagement, and business impact. Oversee execution of high-quality customer experiences, prioritizing key initiatives that drive retention, monetization, and long-term success. Requirements. 15+ years of product management experience, with 5+ years at an executive leadership level (VP or equivalent). Proven track record of leading high-growth, PLG (Product-Led Growth) SaaS businesses. Deep expertise in monetization, user engagement, and retention strategies for global software products. Strong analytical mindset with experience driving data-informed product decisions. Exceptional leadership skills with a passion for mentoring and scaling world-class teams. Ability to drive alignment across cross-functional teams and senior executives. Experience navigating high-growth, fast-paced environments, balancing strategic thinking with execution.
