As a Business Operations Associate, reporting to the Director of Business Operations, your role will be dynamic and multifaceted, requiring you to adapt to various projects and initiatives that advance our strategic objectives. You’ll contribute to driving operational excellence as well as organizational alignment, ensuring our teams remain agile and focused on what truly matters.  This position is part of our DS&S function, which includes our CyberSecurity, IT, and Corporate Security teams. You'll help bridge these diverse domains, ensuring coordination and strategic alignment across all DS&S operations. As part of the Business Operations team, you'll play a key role in connecting the dots and driving initiatives that support DS&S's mission to enhance enterprise performance and deliver critical value to the organization.. Responsibilities. In this role, you’ll:. Collaborate with leadership to establish goals, monitor performance against targets, and provide actionable recommendations.. Assist in organizing and delivering regular operational and strategic reviews on time by coordinating with key stakeholders.. Facilitate cohesive communication and reporting on projects and initiatives, leveraging data-driven insights.. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive process improvements and operational excellence.. Aid in financial management tasks, including budgeting and investment frameworks, in collaboration with finance partners.. Participate in talent development and cultural engagement initiatives alongside HR, ensuring alignment with strategic priorities.. Qualifications . Strong adaptability and ability to proactively work independently.. Excellent interpersonal skills, capable of building relationships with stakeholders at different levels.. Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.. Experience with data analytics tools to visualize data, make data-driven decisions and provide actionable insights from analysis (e.g. Excel, Tableau).. Experience in developing, tracking, and analyzing performance metrics, KPIs, and OKRs to drive data-informed decision-making.. Desired:. Demonstrated ability to successfully balance and manage diverse responsibilities.. Proficiency in using collaboration, productivity, and project management tools (e.g. Jira, ServiceNow).. Experience in cross-functional project leadership, facilitating collaboration across multiple departments.. Experience in budget management and providing insights to optimize financial resources.. Experience in the technology industry or working with a CyberSecurity or IT function..  . Location. This role will be remote, and based in Canada.. Travel . Offerings vary by location.. The estimated pay ranges for this role are as follows:. Based in British Columbia. : $88,900 - $111,100. The successful candidate’s starting salary will be determined based on permissible, non-discriminatory factors such as skills, experience, and geographic location.
