As the Manager of the IT Infrastructure team you will combine your managerial and system administration experience to lead an awesome team of engineers. This is a highly technical, hands-on role where you will contribute alongside the team you will be managing. The ideal candidate has proven experience engineering and maintaining infrastructure in cloud environments, alongside demonstrated people management skills.. Your impact will be:. Manage and lead a team of IT infrastructure engineers, including ongoing performance feedback, mentorship, and career development. Prioritize and assign tasks to your team in partnership with project managers and department stakeholders. Engineer solutions for cloud based systems. Provision and manage resources using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) methodologies. Be an indispensable partner to the Information Security team. Provide in depth technical support for a global, multi-region environment. Provide support for tickets escalated through the Helpdesk. Bring a security-first approach to everything. What you’ll bring:. 2+ years of people management experience and 5+ years of DevOps and systems administration experience. A proactive mindset - find and remediate issues before they become a problem. Engineering and operations experience with AWS. Advanced experience with Linux system administration. Ability to write and maintain Terraform and Ansible code. Scripting experience (preferably Python and Shell). Experience with git & Github. Knowledge of cloud security best practices and applications in a business environment. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to thrive under pressure, self-manage, and prioritize activities. Ability to integrate and participate with a team in a remote, multi-region working environment. What will give you an edge:. Experience with Azure and/or Google Cloud. Experience with AWS Organizations. Experience with Docker and Kubernetes solutions. Experience maintaining and troubleshooting web services, including CDNs and WAFs. Understanding of IDPs and SSO integrations. Recognized certification in cloud based environments (AWS / Azure / GCP)
