Finance Intern Xapo Bank. Location Information: Gibraltar. Position overview. This internship is an exciting opportunity for students who are still studying and eager to gain hands-on experience in the finance sector within a fast-paced fintech environment. Over the course of 2 months, you’ll have the chance to work directly with our finance team, assisting with financial analysis, reporting, and financial planning tasks. This role is perfect for students studying finance, accounting, economics, or a related field, who want to apply their academic knowledge to real-world challenges in the fintech space.. Responsibilities. Assist with the preparation of financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.. Support the team in conducting financial analysis, forecasting, and budgeting processes.. Help track and analyze financial data to identify trends and provide recommendations for improvement.. Collaborate with various departments to collect and analyze data for financial planning and budgeting.. Assist in preparing and reviewing financial documentation for audits and compliance.. Skills needed. Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.. Some exposure to financial analysis, accounting, or reporting through coursework, personal projects, or previous internships is beneficial.. A basic understanding of financial principles, accounting standards (e.g., IFRS or GAAP), and budgeting techniques is advantageous.. Familiarity with Excel and financial modeling is a plus.. Strong written and verbal communication skills in English, enabling effective collaboration and clear reporting.. Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail and accuracy..
