Data Scientist at HSO. Location Information: United States - Remote. . As a Data Scientist you can expect to.... . Collaborate with clients to understand their business objectives and data requirements. . Design and develop data models and algorithms to solve complex business problems. . Analyze large, complex datasets to extract meaningful insights and patterns. . Develop predictive models and machine learning algorithms to support decision-making. . Present findings and recommendations to clients in a clear and compelling manner. . Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in data science and machine learning. . . If so, you’ll have.... . 3 to 5 years working with Microsoft Azure & Reporting tools like Power BI, SSRS in a analytics engineer role with a sound knowledge of data modeling, dimensional modeling, business intelligence, SQL/PLSQL and Performance optimization. . Strong knowledge on Common Data Model (CDM), Dataverse, and Power BI Data Flows, as well as Git and GitHub. . Experience with Power BI external tools – Dax Studio and Tabular Editor. . Knowledge with data platforms, data warehouses, Data Lake, and . ETL. . Ability to use SQL, T-SQL stored procedures. . Experience with Azure DevOps, JIRA or similar agile development planning tools. . Understanding of Cloud concepts – IaaS, PaaS, SaaS. . A curious research mindset finding and recommending solutions based on experience and learning. . Requirements. . Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or related field. . Proven experience as a Data Scientist or similar role. . Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, R, or SQL. . Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI. . Solid understanding of machine learning algorithms and statistical modeling techniques. . Excellent communication and presentation skills. . Ability to work independently and as part of a team. .
