Zelis Payments Optimization team is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Data Analyst. This role will focus on leveraging data-driven insights to support business unit initiatives, identify new revenue opportunities, and track financial performance. The successful candidate will collaborate closely within and outside the business insights team and contribute to client-level reporting and dashboard creation.. What You’ll Do. Assist in the preparation of materials and key talking points for internal client meetings, ensuring content is clear, concise, and aligned with business objectives.. Participate professionally in internal client meetings as appropriate, provide relevant input and ensure that business data and insights are effectively communicated to stakeholders.. Gather feedback from internal client meetings and provide actionable insights to the business insights team, ensuring continuous improvement of strategies and reporting.. Use data and insights to identify new revenue opportunities by analyzing trends, performance metrics, and business data. Present recommendations based on findings to stakeholders within and outside of Payments.. Monitor and track the financial results of action items, ensuring accurate reporting of outcomes and progress toward revenue targets. Provide detailed analysis of financial performance.. Assist in the development and maintenance of client-level reporting and dashboards, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery of reports to stakeholders.. Support a healthy and inspiring organizational culture.. Assist in other projects and business opportunities as assigned.. What You’ll Bring to Zelis. Bachelor’s degree preferred plus 1+ years data analysis experience. . Strong proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques (Excel, SQL, Power BI, Tableau, etc.).. Experience writing & running SQL queries.. Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to distill complex data into actionable insights.. Ability to track and analyze financial performance and KPIs.. Experience with client meetings and client-level reporting.. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.. Collaborative team player with the ability to interact positively with various departments and stakeholders.. Ability to work under tight deadlines, manage multiple tasks simultaneously and adjust to changing priorities.. Location and Workplace Flexibility.
