The Metadata Operations Coordinator will be part of a dynamic team responsible for executing metadata fulfillment in support of A+E Global Media's global content distribution. This includes ensuring timely and accurate metadata delivery across a range of platforms—VOD, TV Everywhere, OTT, SVOD, brand sites, and cross-platform applications—both domestically and internationally. The role requires strong organizational skills, the ability to manage high-volume workflows, prioritize tasks effectively, and delegate as appropriate to meet deadlines.. MORE ABOUT WHAT YOU’LL DO: . Ensure timely and accurate metadata provisioning in line with contractual obligations and management goals.. Coordinate with A+E Programming to secure necessary data for metadata preparation, ensuring alignment with distribution deadlines.. Perform quality control and proofing of metadata fields for XML and content distribution across various platforms and owned products.. Assist in project management, tracking tasks, and identifying resource needs.. Collaborate with technical teams to support UAT testing for new workflows and emerging technologies.. Provide daily status updates and reports, particularly regarding changes to air dates or metadata impacting distribution.. Prepare and edit descriptive copy, ensuring adherence to client specifications and SEO best practices.. Quickly adapt to and master evolving workflows.. Contribute to a team of highly skilled and motivated professionals.. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS. BA/BS Degree. 2-3 years prior experience in the metadata publishing environment is preferred.. Must be detail-oriented with exceptional organizational, time management and communication skills.. Proactive work ethic while maintaining a keen focus on accuracy in a detailed oriented workflow is a must.. Experience with metadata best practices, taxonomy a plus.. Experience with XML metadata and video encoding technologies is a plus.. Experience with digital delivery protocols and technologies a plus (FTP, SFTP, Aspera).. THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:.
