The Senior Data and Reporting Professional generates ad hoc reports and regular datasets or report information for end-users using system tools and database or data warehouse queries and scripts. The Senior Data and Reporting Professional work assignments involve moderately complex to complex issues where the analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors. Eastern Time Zone working hours M-F 8am-5pm.. Responsibilities:. The Senior Data Reporting Professional develops, maintains, and collects structured and unstructured data sets for analysis and reporting. Creates reports, projections, models, and presentations to support business strategy and tactics. Understands department, segment, and organizational strategy and operating objectives, including their linkages to related areas. Makes decisions regarding own work methods, occasionally in ambiguous situations, and requires minimal direction and receives guidance where needed. Follows established guidelines/procedures.. Develop tools and testing models to ensure data accuracy. Create and present reports that detail your findings, recommendations and solutions. Accountable for communicating and driving the vision and strategy effectively to key stakeholders and agile team members. Responsible for working closely with the Lead to assist in clarifying and driving alignment on the business strategy, goals, and objectives.. Anticipates and solves complex issues using a data-driven approach to decision making including developing and tracking Objectives and Key Results (OKRs) that drive product success.. Look for opportunities for continuous agile team, process, and product improvement. Makes recommendations to leadership.. Ensure risks associated with business activities are effectively identified, measured, monitored, and controlled in accordance with risk and compliance policies and procedures.. Use your skills to make an impact . . Required Qualifications. Bachelor's degree. 5 or more years of technical experience in data reporting. Advanced Microsoft Excel skills including ability to link pivots to external data sources, creating pivot tables and summarizing data into reports and dashboards. Experience working with big and complex data sets within large organizations and/or the analysis of healthcare data. Proficiency in verbal and written communication to senior and executive leadership. Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple or competing priorities. Strong analytical and problem solving skills. Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences. Preferred Qualifications. Advanced Degree in a quantitative discipline, such as Mathematics, Economics, Finance, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering or related field. Advanced proficiency in SQL, SAS and other data systems. Experience with tools such as Tableau and Qlik for creating data visualizations. Experience in a system analytics and/or data warehousing environment. Additional Information. Travel: While this is a remote position, occasional travel to Humana's offices for training or meetings may be required.. Scheduled Weekly Hours. 40. Pay Range. The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.. . $73,400 - $100,100 per year. .
