The Zillow Group Legal & Compliance Team manages the Fairness function across Zillow Group, which includes programs for Fair Housing, Fair Lending and the ethical use of AI in regulated activities across all Zillow Group lines of business. Our team works closely with Zillow's Product, Mortgages, Marketing, Rentals, Government Relations, Data and Analytics, and Artificial Intelligence (AI) teams to help analyze and monitor compliance requirements to meet Zillow's commitment to fairness in the housing and consumer finance industry. As part of this team you will work in a fast-paced environment to innovate and scale our Fairness program across Zillow.. About the role. As the Program Manager, Fair Housing and AI Compliance, you will:. Build new, and integrate with, existing compliance programs focused on responsible use of data, digital marketing, and responsible product development. With direction, test and assess new products, AI models, user-generated content, and other datasets for compliance with legal, regulatory, and business requirements based on established internal frameworks. Participate in our Ethical AI working group, applying a governance mindset across Zillow’s use of Artificial Intelligence. Partner with other Compliance and Trust and Safety teams that moderate discriminatory or offensive user generated content . Catalogue regulatory changes that impact our Federal and 50-state fairness compliance program. Lead periodic cross-functional risk assessments on fair housing, fair lending, and ethical AI. Advance the development and execution of our Fair Lending program by collaborating to integrate or scale fair lending into existing programs, overseeing statistical analyses, guiding policy, and issuing reports on fair lending performance including mortgage pricing outcomes.. What You Bring:. 3+ years of Program Management experience with related technologies, including leading significant cross functional projects in mid-size or large companies. Demonstrated understanding and comfort with Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, including Generative AI. Knowledge of Fair Housing and/or Fair Lending laws and regulations, or experience with similar civil rights or consumer protection laws. Outstanding oral and written communication skills with the ability to think clearly, analyze quantitatively, problem-solve, scope technical requirements, and prioritize tasks. Experience with – or the ability to learn – program management tools such as Smartsheet, Airtable, Google Workspace, Auditboard, etc. . Excitement to collaborate cross-functionally with a broad set of internal and external stakeholders. Strong organizational and program management skills .
