The Data Strategy Project Manager will lead the execution of strategic enterprise-wide BI initiatives, manage the data organization’s intake process, drive stakeholder communications, and support strategic data initiatives. This role requires a proactive leader with strong project management skills, a deep understanding of BI and data governance, and the ability to bridge business and technical teams. We prefer this candidate to be commuting distance to our Glendale, WI, facility, but we can allow remote work for the right candidate.. How you will do it . Project & Program Management:. Oversee and manage enterprise BI projects with our Analytics COE from initiation to completion, ensuring alignment with business objectives, timelines, and budgets.. Develop project plans, define milestones, track progress and KPIs, and mitigate risks across BI and analytics initiatives.. Establish and maintain hybrid Agile project management methodologies to enhance efficiency and delivery.. Data Organization Intake Process:. Own and refine the intake process for data product requests, ensuring prioritization aligns with business goals; triage requests to the appropriate data team based and communicate status with stakeholders.. Work closely with business units to define requirements, assess feasibility, and drive alignment between stakeholders and the data team.. Implement standardized frameworks for intake evaluation and backlog management, ensuring transparency and efficiency in request processing.. Stakeholder Communication & Change Management:. Serve as ‘white glove’ point of contact between executive leadership and the data organization, ensuring clear communication and expectation management.. Develop and present project updates, dashboards, and executive summaries to executive leadership and cross-functional teams.. Drive user adoption of BI solutions and data literacy by facilitating training, documentation, and engagement initiatives.. Strategic Initiatives & Continuous Improvement:. Support the development and execution of enterprise-wide data strategies, including governance, self-service BI, and data literacy programs.. Identify process optimization opportunities within BI and analytics operations to enhance scalability and efficiency.. What you will need. Required . Bachelor’s degree in Business, Data Analytics, Information Systems, or a related field. PMP, Agile, or Six Sigma certifications are a plus.. 7+ years of project management experience, with a strong focus on BI, data analytics, or enterprise data programs.. Proven experience managing large-scale data initiatives, intake processes, and cross-functional collaboration.. Strong understanding of BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Looker) and data platforms (e.g., Snowflake, Databricks, SQL-based systems).. Exceptional communication, stakeholder management, and change management skills.. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to drive data-driven decision-making.. Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution in a fast-paced environment.. Preferred . Experience with Jira/Atlassian products.
