About the role. The Data Analyst III, Operations is a highly technical and strategic role responsible for bringing order, insight, and accountability to some of the most complex areas of our business — including fulfillment, vendor performance, clinical operations, and customer experience.. You’ll own the data, tooling, and reporting infrastructure that drive day-to-day operations and executive decision-making. This includes writing production-grade SQL, building scalable data models in dbt, maintaining high-visibility dashboards in Tableau, and delivering analyses that directly improves top-priority KPIs.. You’ll operate with a high degree of ownership, turning operational ambiguity into clearly defined metrics, reports, and processes. You’ll also play a key role in documenting and standardizing operational workflows through SOP development.. This role sits within the Data & Analytics team and partners closely with stakeholders across Operations, Clinical Operations, Product, and Engineering. What you'll do. Data Analysis & SQL Development. Write and maintain advanced SQL (CTEs, window functions, performance-optimized queries) to power dashboards and ad hoc analyses. Build and maintain reusable data models in dbt that support operational reporting across departments. Own the underlying data integrity for ops KPIs (e.g. patient turnaround time, SLA adherence, clinical quality). Analyze trends in approval rates, decision speed, and clinical throughput to identify bottlenecks and support clinical team performance. Dashboarding & Data Access. Develop and maintain Tableau dashboards for daily, weekly, and monthly business reporting. Ensure data visualizations are reliable, scalable, and reflect the latest operational logic. Partner with end users to continuously improve dashboard usability and business relevance. Process Documentation & SOPs. Create clear, well-documented SOPs for data workflows, reporting processes, and stakeholder requests. Help standardize analytical outputs across operations to reduce ad hoc chaos and improve data quality. Contribute to building the foundational playbooks that guide how operations and analytics teams work together. Stakeholder Partnership & Strategy. Collaborate closely with Operations, Medical, and CX leads to identify high-impact analytical projects. Present insights to technical and non-technical stakeholders, including senior leadership. Bring structure and clarity to complex problems through data storytelling and follow-up recommendations. Operational Support & Scale. Act as the analytics lead for a high-growth, high-change part of the business. Identify and build the missing data infrastructure that makes downstream reporting easier. Proactively identify opportunities to improve turnaround time, reduce friction, support growth, and flag at-risk processes. What you'll bring. 5+ years of experience in data analytics or operations analytics, ideally in a fast-moving, high-growth startup environment. Expert-level SQL proficiency — confident writing complex, performant queries using CTEs, window functions, and advanced logic. Production experience with dbt — built and maintained models, proficient in version control (Git), branching strategies, and deployment best practices. Advanced Tableau skills — design and build scalable, well-structured dashboards with drill-downs, filters, and alerts, accounting for performance considerations. Demonstrated experience creating and maintaining SOPs or structured analytical documentation. Strong business intuition and problem-solving ability — naturally ask "why" and "how". Excellent communication and collaboration skills — comfortable identifying broken processes and proposing scalable fixes. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS. Experience using Python for data analysis, automation, or workflow support. Familiarity with modern data stacks (e.g., Azure, dbt, Python, Git, Airflow). Background working in e-commerce and/or telehealth industries. .
