The IT Senior Lead Software Engineer – Service Assurance is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining user interfaces for software solutions that ensure high network reliability, performance monitoring, and automation in telecom operations. This role involves leading software development initiatives, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and implementing innovative technologies to optimize service assurance processes. We’re seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Software Engineer to architect, implement, and manage scalable solutions across our enterprise. This role will lead a team of engineers and design and develop user interfaces for the service assurance suite of software. Candidates should have demonstratable experience creating intuitive user interface using modern frameworks.. The Main Responsibilities. . . Design Intuitive Secure Modern UIs: Work collaboratively with internal clients to design, prototype and build secure modern user interfaces for new and existing service assurance systems. . . Software Development Leadership: Drive the architecture, design, and implementation of software solutions for service assurance, ensuring scalability, security, and performance. . . Automation & AI Integration: Develop and implement automated solutions using AI/ML to enhance proactive network monitoring and incident resolution. . . System Optimization: Improve fault detection, incident management, and predictive analytics capabilities within service assurance platforms. . . Technical Strategy: Define best practices for software engineering, code quality, and system reliability within the department. . . Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement: Work closely with operations, business teams, and engineering to align software solutions with strategic objectives. . . Data-Driven Enhancements: Leverage big data analytics, telemetry, and monitoring tools to optimize network performance. . . Security & Compliance: Ensure software solutions adhere to industry standards, cybersecurity best practices, and regulatory requirements. . . Mentorship & Leadership: Provide technical guidance to junior engineers, fostering innovation and continuous improvement. . . Design and implement secure, scalable, and highly available cloud infrastructure. . . What We Look For in a Candidate. . . Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field. . . Experience with modern web UI design technologies (such as HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript frameworks like React, Angular, or Vue.js). . . Proficiency in UI/UX design principles, user research, wireframing, prototyping, and usability testing.. . 8+ years of experience in software development, with at least 5 years in telecom or service assurance. . . Expertise in programming languages such as Java, C++. . Strong understanding of cloud technologies, APIs, and microservices architecture. . . Expertise in at least one or two major cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or GCP). GCP and AWS experience preferred.. . Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Bash, PowerShell). . . Strong understanding of networking, security, and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes). . . Certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect, or Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect are a plus. . . Experience with AI, ML, automation, and predictive analytics for network optimization. . . Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills. . . Compensation. . Individual pay is based on skills, experience and other relevant factors.. . Location Based Pay Ranges:. . $129,639 - $172,852 in these states: AL, AR, AZ, FL, GA, IA, ID, IN, KS, KY, LA, ME, MO, MS, MT, ND, NE, NM, OH, OK, PA, SC, SD, TN, UT, VT, WI, WV, and WY.. $136,121 - $181,494 in these states: CO, HI, MI, MN, NC, NH, NV, OR, and RI.. $142,603 - $190,137 in these states: AK, CA, CT, DC, DE, IL, MA, MD, NJ, NY, TX, VA, and WA.. .
