ASRC is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Toxicology Data Manager to oversee the collection, organization, and management of toxicological data to support scientific research. This role is integral to ensuring the integrity and quality of toxicological data across multiple studies and platforms. This is a Remote position.. Key Responsibilities:. • Data Management for Accuracy, consistency, and Completeness:. ◦ Manage toxicological datasets from preclinical and environmental health -related studies, including in vivo, in vitro, and in silico data as part of established or novel . pipelines. ◦ Develop, implement, and maintain data management processes, standards, integrity. Conduct quality checks to identify and resolve inconsistencies or gaps. ◦ Familiarity with regulatory requirements (e.g., GLP, OECD) as related to data quality.. ◦ Support the interrogation of data to answer scientific questions.. ◦ Trouble shooting for any issues that arise.. • Data Integration & Reporting:. ◦ Organize and integrate toxicological data from various sources (e.g., chemistry, pathology, and toxicology data from CROs, LIMS (Laboratory Information Management System such as Provantis), internal labs).. ◦ Generate summary data reports, data summaries, and visualizations.. • Collaboration & Support:. ◦ Work closely with toxicologists, biostatisticians, pathologists, chemists, and IT teams.. ◦ Serve as a data liaison between internal teams and external partners.. ◦ Support database design and maintenance to facilitate efficient data retrieval and long-term storage.. • Compliance & Documentation:. ◦ Maintain documentation of data management practices, including SOPs and data dictionaries.. ◦ Ensure compliance with relevant data protection regulations and industry standards.. Qualifications:. Education:. • Master’s degree or Ph.D. in Toxicology, Life Sciences, Data Science, Bioinformatics, or a related field; or equivalent in years of experience.. Experience:. • 8+ years of experience in data management within a toxicology, pharmaceutical, or regulatory environment.. • Familiarity with GLP standards, regulatory guidelines, and toxicology data requirements.. • Experience with LIMS - or toxicology-specific databases.. Skills:. • Strong critical thinking, analytical and problem-solving abilities.. • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.. • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.. Preferred Qualifications:. • Knowledge of National Toxicology Program studies/data or similar types of studies/data.. • Knowledge of computational toxicology tools and predictive modeling.. • Project management experience in a data-intensive environment.. • Proficiency in data management tools (e.g., SQL, KNIME, Excel, R, SAS) and database systems.. • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced multidisciplinary environment.. • Quick learner with adaptability to new tools and processes..
