We’re looking for a Lead Data Analyst to join this team. This is a high-impact, high-autonomy individual contributor role for someone who thrives on ambiguity, knows how to connect business priorities to product data, and has a passion for identifying the most meaningful opportunities to improve user and business outcomes.. . What you'll do. . . Partner closely with product, design, and engineering to help shape the roadmap by evaluating potential impact, sizing opportunities, and synthesizing complex data into actionable narratives. . Independently lead large-scale analytical efforts, from opportunity sizing to experimental design and deep-dive diagnostics, using both structured and unstructured data. . Serve as a strategic thought partner in product development planning by contextualizing product analytics with broader company strategy and market trends. . Create or improve key datasets and contribute to our analytical tooling ecosystem (e.g., Looker, dbt, Hex) to ensure we can answer today’s questions and tomorrow’s. . Frame and evaluate experiments using industry-best methodologies to isolate causal effects and interpret noisy data. . Mentor peers in analysis design, storytelling, and stakeholder engagement — even without direct management responsibilities. . Represent analytics in leadership forums, shaping cross-functional discussions and ensuring analytics is embedded in SeatGeek’s most important product decisions. . . What you have. . . 6+ years of experience working in product analytics, data science, or adjacent roles — preferably in tech, ecommerce marketplaces, or consumer products. . Experience working on product growth, engagement loops, or retention strategy. . Deep fluency in SQL and comfort with Python or R for exploratory analysis and modeling. . Experience with A/B testing, experimentation platforms, and interpreting complex product behaviors through data. . Excellent product sense to rival that of the best product managers you’ve worked with. . Demonstrated ability to own ambiguous problem spaces, from framing questions to delivering recommendations. . A systems-thinking mindset - you enjoy mapping out how product and business components interact and impact fan experience. . Strong communication skills — able to simplify complex analyses, defend methodology choices, and inspire action through insights. . Collaborative mindset and emotional intelligence — you’re someone stakeholders seek out for thought partnership, not just dashboards. . Bonus points for prior experience in B2B2C businesses , experience contributing to or building data infrastructure (e.g., event tracking, dbt modeling), or bringing AI-driven consumer-facing products to market. . .
