Juniper Square is looking for an experienced Data Product Services Manager (Business Intelligence) to transform how internal and external stakeholders interact with their data. In this individual contributor role, you will be responsible for developing and refining the Insights Product's LookML data model, leveraging customer and stakeholder feedback to make Insights a best-in-class Business Intelligence product.. As a successful DPSM, you will partner directly with customers to understand their analytics needs and make strategic adjustments to the data model that drive their businesses forward. You will also collaborate with internal stakeholders across departments to leverage data tools for testing product fit and increasing operational efficiency.. This is an exciting opportunity to join a strategic and highly visible team, partnering with both external and internal teams including Solutions Engineering, Fund Administration, Client Success, Technical Consulting, Product, and Engineering. You will report to the Manager of Data Product Services and work closely with our engineering and product teams.. What you’ll do. Develop and maintain the Insights data model in Looker, expanding our best-in-class intelligence product offering for CRE, PEVC, and FA clients. Formulate and optimize LookML/SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and testing to support high-priority customer use cases. Build bespoke dashboards and reports in Looker that meet business requirements while ensuring data quality, integrity, and system performance. Participate in Scrum / sprint planning and adapt business use cases into technical specifications for implementation in BI data model. Implement Insights and interface with customers to understand their current data use cases, source data, and business requirements. Partner with customers to identify analytics needs and guide data model enhancements that enable business growth. Recommend improvements to our product offering based on customer experiences and market feedback. Partner with product and operations teams to enhance our product, processes, and procedures. Build deep expertise in Juniper Square software, internal data tools, Looker data visualization, and the Insights data model. Stay current with evolving software capabilities and private markets industry trends. Qualifications. Bachelor's degree in computer science, statistics, mathematics, economics, or related field, OR equivalent experience (minimum 5+ years in data-focused roles). 4+ years of professional experience in a data-focused role such as Data Analyst, Business Intelligence Developer, Analytics Engineer, or Data Scientist. Hands-on experience with Looker, including proficiency in LookML development and maintaining complex data models, explores, and views. Bonus for experience with additional BI platforms (Tableau, Power BI, etc.).. Strong proficiency in SQL, with experience writing complex queries, performance tuning, and data modeling. Bonus for experience with at least one scripting language (e.g., Python, R) for data analysis and/or automation. Familiarity with modern data warehousing concepts and cloud data platforms (BigQuery, Snowflake, Redshift). Bonus for experience with data transformation tools (e.g., dbt). Experience working with customers in private markets (real estate, venture capital, private equity), finance, investments/investment banking and/or fund administration space. Strong analytical and inquisitive nature with a keen attention to detail and a commitment to data accuracy. Proven ability to translate ambiguous business questions into well-defined analytical problems and deliver actionable insights. Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences. A proactive and independent individual who is comfortable navigating a dynamic, fast-paced environment. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.. Systems experience with G-Suite, Jira, Confluence, and Zendesk would be a plus.. Compensation. Compensation for this position includes a base . salary. and a variety of benefits. The U.S. base salary range for this role is $84,000 to $126,000.
